I found out today I'm going to have a godson! I'm super excited!!!!
...of course it'll be another 5 months, but I can't wait until I start shopping for stuff and spoil him rotten! oh what fun!

| One of the bad things about living in Walnut Creek is that it's hard to find good Asian food around here.
Of course there's P.F. Chang's right across the street from work, but it's not authentic, "real" Chinese food. Granted, it does taste pretty darn good for what it is. What I really miss are restaurants like San Tung. Mmmm..dried fried chicken wings! So tasty.
The food here in general is pricey. So when I have to pay a lot for Asian food, I feel a little ripped off. I mean, really. Is it necessary to charge 10 or 11 bucks for a bowl of pho?! That's just insane.
When I come back home to SF i feel good when i can just eat "normally" again. Mom's home cooking, familiar & reliable Asian restaurants, a VARIETY of good ethnic food in general that's not going to make me go broke.

| It's been a while.
I keep saying I'll update, but I get distracted and unmotivated to do so.
I've noticed lately that I know a lot of people that are either getting married or pregnant. Family members, coworkers, friends...
Not a bad thing! I'm actually happy & excited for them all. Except I keep thinking - when will it be my time?
I'm not in a huge hurry to get married or have a baby, but I'm not planning on having a baby after 30 either. If it doesn't happen within the next four years, forget it! Is that horrible? HAHA. Yeah, come to think of it. Maybe it does sound unreasonable.
It's just that hate the idea of being a new mommy at an older age. I'll be out of touch, out of shape, and out of...something! Maybe I'll change my mind. Who knows?
No pressure on Alan! (but really, kinda. sorta. yes.) | | |
